La Ducati 1199 Panigale est une moto sportive italienne qui a été présentée pour la première fois au grand public en 2011 lors du salon EICMA. Sa production en série a commencé un an plus tard.
Le modèle 1199 Panigale a été développé et mis en production pour renforcer la position de l’entreprise sur le segment des motos sportives et pour remplacer les modèles 1198. , était le moteur 2 cylindres le plus puissant produit en série avec une puissance de 195 CV ! Par rapport à son prédécesseur, il était également possible de réduire le poids de la moto. Grâce à ces caractéristiques, la Ducati 1199 Panigale est capable d’accélérer à environ 290-300 km/h. Deux versions de développement ont été créées : Panigale S, qui dispose d’un équipement plus riche (surtout, un meilleur système de contrôle de la suspension) et Panigale S Tricolore avec un système ABS et un système d’échappement modifié.
