Qantas placed its initial 747 order for four 747-100s in 1967. This order was changed to the improved -200B series in 1969. Qantass first 747, VH-EBA was built and delivered in 1971. The aircraft bounced back and forth to and from Qantas for a number of years, then later on flew for TWA and Transjet Sweden before finally being broken up in Saudi Arabia in 2012. Our decal depicts VH-EBA in the distinctive ochre colors with the flying roo on the tail.
