After its 2008 bankruptcy, Frontier Airlines was purchased by Republic Holdings in 2009. Frontier continued to operate as its own entity, with Republic Airlines operating 15 of their Embraer 190s in full Frontier markings up until 2013. Each Frontier aircraft has a unique animal decal on the tail and inside of the winglets, and this set depicts N174HQ Buddy the Badger on the tail, the first E190 that Republic painted into Frontier markings.
