Continental Airlines joined the Star Alliance in October 2009. At its membership announcement press event, the airline unveiled the first of its aircraft to wear the Star Alliance colors scheme, Boeing 757-224 N14120. Following Continentals merger with United, the aircraft continues to wear these colors, though the new United titles have replaced the Continental ones.
