Ladeco, Línea Aérea Del Cobre or the airline of copper, operated independently until 1994 when it was absorbed into the growing Lan Chile airline empire. The set depicts the Taco Chip scheme worn on Ladecos 757s prior to the LAN Chile ownership. These aircraft were disposed off quickly after Ladeco was absorbed into Lan Chile, and one of them was later converted into a USAF C-32A and the other ended up at FedEx.
