Following its purchase of Flying Tigers in 1989, Federal Express became a Boeing 747 operator. The airline inherited a fleet of classic -100 and -200 aircraft, including both purpose-built and converted freighters, with several versions of Pratt & Whitney engines. Our decal depicts the hybrid Tigers/FedEx scheme worn on the Federal Express 747 fleet.
