Recommended For

  • Modelers who need maximum precision for details, figures, and cockpit painting

  • Painters seeking Kolinsky performance with added durability

  • Artists working on fine lines, shading, and highlights

  • Hobbyists needing a reliable brush for advanced techniques

Before First Use

Our brushes arrive with a water-soluble protective gum.

  1. Rinse the brush gently in clean water.

  2. Shape the bristles lightly with your fingers until all gum dissolves.

  3. Once the bristles move freely, the brush is ready to use.

Important During Use

  • Keep paint only on the front 2/3 of the bristles.

  • Avoid getting paint into the ferrule (metal part).

Dried paint at the base of the hairs can cause:

  • bent or split hairs

  • clumping

  • loss of tip sharpness

  • reduced spring and control

This is the most common cause of natural-hair brush damage.

Cleaning After Use

  • Rinse thoroughly with clean water.

  • Put the protective cap back on and dry the brush upright.

  • For coarse pigments (skin tones, greys, metallics, washes): use conditioning brush soap.

  • For oil paints: clean with odorless thinner or brush soap, then rinse with water.

Suitable cleaning agents: Linseed oil (recommended), White/Mineral Spirits or Conditioning brush soap

Avoid: Harsh chemical cleaners
